Older cultural monuments on this area from the Iron Age (500 BC – 1050 AD) have been preserved and utilized – a reconstructed Iron Age environment with houses, estates, fields, smithy, sacrificial area and living cattle.
During the Iron Age the farms were built surrounded by a fence with several houses next to a larger residential building. These houses were used for various purposes such as a smithy or a loom. There was also often an excavated well in close to the larger residential building on the farm.
